Herzog Videos Review

Herzog Videos invites you to enjoy the good old days with classic porn from Germany called Heidi Porn. I think the genre is a giveaway, but if you have no idea what Heidi porn is, then you're in for a surprise. On the one hand, the site claims that the sex is real and filthy and while it has that naughty hardcore thing going on, I'm not exactly sure that real is a word I would use to describe it.

Basically, a lot of these scenes appear to be scripted. I'm not really up on what this type of porn entails, but I've seen more or less mainstream Heidi films before and usually they take place in mountainside locations and follow the adventures of the main female character as she travels and learns and apparently puts into practice what she learns, which in this case is a lot of different sex techniques.

The costumes are rather elaborate and so are the productions. Most of them, as far as I can tell, seem to have been made in the 1970's and 1980's, although some may actually come from the 1990's. There aren't any scene or DVD details providing this specific information, though. In fact, there is very little detail. You end up getting a series of video caps so that you can kind of guess what you're going to find when you watch a film, but there aren't any really great scene descriptions, there aren't model details or anything else for that matter.

Despite the limited information for each scene or DVD title, there are still some good browsing tools to pinpoint specific hardcore actions and even if the scenes don't list the models, there is still a model filter if you have a specific chick in mind. Also, there are plenty of sorting tools. Navigation wasn't an issue for me, although I was a little irritated by a live girl listing that was constantly in my way when trying to view the galleries. I couldn't get rid of it, which is why it was so irritating and this is about the only extra you end up getting with the membership, except for interactive games.

Getting back to the Herzog Videos, there are 96 scenes in total. Some of them are pure Heidi porn movies complete with Alpine, country and farm locations, men in lederhosen and women in milkmaid-style or at least Bavarian maid outfits. Nevertheless, there are more contemporary scenes with modern clothing and townie locations that include beer gardens, wedding receptions and even one film offers up a sexy nurse treating soldiers from an era gone-by. When it comes to fantasy, Herzog Videos is impressive.

Since these movies are older, you'll have to put up with some average resolutions. The remastered films are only as good as the originals and the originals are a little dated, but this is part of the charm of classic films, in my opinion. You aren't going to find any super-clear HD images, but you do get stereo sound. Unfortunately, you don't get English sub-titles, so you won't be able to thoroughly enjoy the storylines unless you speak the language, which sounds like German, but don't quote me. Of course, you will understand the sexual lessons and adventures that the girls embark on in each of the Herzog Videos scenes and even without subtitles, I found the films to be fun, as well as a sexy turn-on. Nevertheless, you are looking at one stream and one 1700kbps, 720x576 MP4 download. There aren't any additional options.

Final Verdict

Herzog Videos offers some elaborate and impressive classic niche porn. Fans of Heidi porn end up getting a few great scenes with the typical Alpine locations and period or niche garments. Some scenes are more modern, but they still retain a style that is very similar to the others. I think that if you're into classic porn from Bavaria in Germany, then Herzog Videos is an excellent bet. However, the quality may not be what you're used to and there is no discernable content dates, although the site has seen an increase of five movies over the past five weeks, which is a good sign.
